Sometimes, I can’t believe how blessed I am. This afternoon, I had a wonderful visit with my nephrologist (kidney specialist). Yes, I have to go back on kidney disease treatment. Again. And yes, it is an unpleasant process. So why am I so happy?

• The specialist affirmed that there is no permanent damage to the kidneys.

….AND….

• This type of kidney disease typically “fizzles out” as you age, rather than getting worse.

How blessed am I? I literally wanted to sing as I walked out of the examination room. All of the fears that I had been wrestling with were put to rest. So for those of you who have been praying, thank you! What a fantastic day and what a good report!
